    Hello,

    Could anybody translate this expression please?
    It's from the song of Manu Chao - Mi Vida.
    I searched through the internet, but was not able to find anything meaningful.

    thanks

    DIACAAAA....!!!
    ARGENTINIAN SPANISH
    charquito= little puddle
    arrabal= a poor quarter or area
    I think that Manu is trying to refer to a person that doesn't worth too much... I mean, imagine the puddle in the middle of a slum... It's my humble opnion... What's more, in the third stanza says "charquito de agua turbia" so you can figure that he/she is even a little disgusting (but he loves him/her anyway)...
