Hi, I am translating into Italian an automotive text related to the initial problems with the rotary engine. The text mentions scratches ('chatter marks') appearing on the combustion chamber walls that were called ‘Demon’s Claws’. I don't know how to translate 'chatter marks'. Thanks for your help.
