che hanno tirato le mie intenzioni

Ciao!

I can't figure out how to translate that part of the sentence. The context is the speaker talking about which books he will be discussing. Not all the books, but "quelli che hanno tirato le mie intenzioni."

Is it something like, "those that grabbed my attention, that jumped out at me" ?

Grazie in anticipo!

Something more about the context or the previous sentences? Your translation would be good for "quelli che hanno attirato la mia attenzione", which is very common. Personally, I have never heard the expression "tirare le intenzioni" in my whole life, so I cannot say what is intended without knowing something more about the dialogue.

Thank you, both, and sorry for my late response!

I'm sure that I misheard, and listening back I believe "attirato la mia attenzione" is what he said.

For the sake of the integrity of the forum, should I change the title, or ask that it be linked to a thread on "tirare la sua attenzione"?
