I often see mcees or presenters on TV say "check it out".
Can the phrase be also used in business?

Example:
I revised the document. Please check it out.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think so. You might say "Please check it."

Who are you speaking to? Are you the boss? Is the other person your boss?

    Examples of check it out

"I've just bought this new outfit. Check it out. What do you think of it?"

"Look at that girl who has just walked in. Check her out!"

Yes, if you're talking to your colleague, it shall be fine. However,if it is written down to a document, i think, it sounds informal.

    Thanks, Biffo-san.

I understand from your examples "check it out" sounds casual and it is not appropriate for people to use in business.:)
