Cheech, Are You Out There?

  • hi garry
coincidentally, i was watching an episode of Sex and the City (i watch it in English with English subtitles in case I lose the dialogue) and they happened to say the word "bong" after I had seen your post and wrote it "bong" in the subtitles (which btw was the way I had always thought it was written)
So, i googled a little and found that bong is the recipient to smoke (that works with water) and that bhang is a A highly therapeutic stimulant and ayurvedic hemp preparation that awakes
    cosmic consciousness
according to some sources and an astringent and narcotic drug according to others.

El saber no ocupa lugar :)

    Hola Chiquillos,

I'm so glad Be gave un the technical explantation. Ever since joing the forum, I had thought that Belén=A highly therapeutic stimulant and ayurvedic ...... that awakes cosmic consciousness. Now I know a second meaning, so we can use it in puns and other agreeable preparations.

I still advise the original poster to be a little careful about asking for such items in countries where he may travel. I know of people who have had their sojourns extended for years, rather involuntarily.

    Saludos,
    Cuchu

Qxu, thanks for the flattering words and I agree with you to warn the bongo friends to watch out, except in Holland, Ibiza and San Francisco :)
Oh, and in Tunisia you use bongs to smoke that wonderful and legal cinammon tobacco.
