Chi fa molti regali ne merita uno speciale.

Hi,
I'm writing a Christmas card and I need to translate this sentence:

Chi fa molti regali ne merita uno speciale.

I've translated:

Who makes a lot of gifts derserves a special one.

Is it correct? Can it be improved?

Thanks.

In this sort of construction, in English we need to put a pronoun before "who" - for example:

Someone/one who makes lots of gifts deserves a special one

or perhaps better (because "makes lots of gifts" doesn't sound quite right) ...

Someone/one who gives so many deserves a special gift [in return]
