Hello. I've got a question about these sentences:

1) Chimpanzee has the closest DNA sequence to homosapiens.
2) Chimpanzee has the closest DNA sequence as homosapiens.

I'd like to know if both are correct and which is the difference between them, if any.
I'm not sure about the second one. Is it possible?

Thanks!

    'Closest to' is correct.

    Both are incorrect. :)

    1) Chimpanzees have the closest DNA sequence to homo sapiens. <--- Now it is correct. ;)
    2) Chimpanzees have the closest DNA sequence as homo sapiens. wrong

    Closest....to is correctly paired.
    Closest....as is not. :)

You are making a "from - to" comparison and so, "to" would be right.

    1) Chimpanzees has have the closest DNA sequence to homosapiens.
