Hi all,
we are using buttons for our application, on those buttons this text " Clear All " is printed in English, were 'C' and 'A' are the starting letters of the words which should be in capitals. therefore my question is, can we follow the same pattern as starting letters in capital letters for Italian language so that we can print on the button similarly as English. I mean can we use the starting letters for the above words as capitals in Italian?

Thanks.

  • Well, it's been a full day and you've had no answers.
At least mine will pop you back to the top for the experts to see.

HERE's one with capital letters, and most of the Google results are with capitals,
    a small number are without.

    Now we wait...

    Hi,

yes I have been waiting since yesterday for the answer. The example you have provided is for the sentence but our's is just two words on a button. And should both the starting letters for the two words should be capitalised?
    Thanks anyways for your help.

I'm using an Italian keyboard right now and I checked the names on the keys. They read terms like: "Canc Scr", "Stamp R Sist", "Pausa Interr", "Ins Num", "Alt Gr".

So, yes, you can follows the same pattern in Italian too. I hope this helps! :)

If I have understood the question, I have to disagree. The capitalization in the words "Clear All" is not a rule. I think it's a matter of design. And personally I'd prefer "clear all" or "CLEAR ALL". So, you can do whatever you want, I think that there is not a rule.
