Closing an academic letter with "Cordially yours"

    Another possibility: I have a fondness for "yours truly", which seems to lie somewhere between "sincerely" and "faithfully" in terms of fomality and has no particular affinity with AE or BE usage. As always, I'd be interested to read others' thoughts.
