Mister Crumbly, you were the clubhouse manager for Clyde's team -- the Philly Steel Drivers.

Signor Crumbly, lei era  della squadra di Clyde -- i Philly Steel Drivers.

E' forse assistente? Perché questo tizio non ricopriva cariche particolari, a me sembra solo un aiutante.

I think it means the manager of the clubhouse - ie the building at a sports club which houses the bar and changing rooms and often a restaurant as well.

That may be completely out of context, so sorry if it is!

In baseball, the clubhouse manager or locker room (spogliatoio) manager is responsible for taking care of the players' equipment, cleaning their uniforms, etc. Is there an equivalent for Italian soccer teams? If so, perhaps you could use that term.

    I really don't know what's the term like, that's the point :( (I understood what you both meant...but I need a translation!)

I asked some friends of mine, and in football he's called magazziniere
