(Co-ed and mixed) schools

I wonder if you let me know whether the term “mixed school” is in common use as an interchangeable alternative for the term “coeducational school” in which students of both sexes educate together or not?

    It is.

    However, as most schools in England are now mixed/coeducational, we tend not to use these words much, assuming it is coeducational is unless we specify that it's not.
