coma - as it moves towards shore its shape...

    Hola amigos, tengo la siguiente duda. Que frase estará correcta, sin la coma ó con la coma?

    1. As a wave moves toward shore its shape is changed by its collision with the shallow sea bottom.

    2. As a wave moves toward shore, its shape is changed by its collision with the shallow sea bottom.
