combination of or to his locker

    I would say "He forgot the combination of his locker" or "He forgot the combination for his locker", but it wouldn't bother me to hear somebody else say "to".

    What's the combination to your locker? is how I would phrase it. I think "to" is fine, and sounds colloquial to me.
