I've browsed through all the threads, but I can't seem to find one that answers my question.
I will give an example sentence to better describe my question:
'I have acquired knowledge in math, science, and history, and would like to acquire knowledge in music.'

I've seen from past posts that the first comma before the 1st and is not necessary.

Does the sentence version:
''I have acquired knowledge in math, science and history, and would like to acquire knowledge in music.'
have better punctuation?
