comma before 'if' (conjunction): substitute the seafood if preferred

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering whether there's a comma before "if preferred" in the following sentence:

You can substitute the seafood with thin slices of chicken breast if preferred.

I appreciate your reply.

    No, there isn't. :) I suppose you're wondering if there should be. ;)

    Yes, I think the comma has to be there. Though I personally would say 'if you prefer'...
