comma between subject and verb

Hi All,

do I have to put a comma after 'literacy events' (literacy events being a technical term, by the way) although, from a logical point of view, it may even seem incorrect?

What makes the analysis of relations of power that dominate or at least have a role in literacy events(, --> comma?) particularly difficult is the fact that ...

No comma after events, although I would suggest partitioning off "or at least..." with some punctuation. Maybe:

"...that dominate--or at least have a role in--literacy events particularly..."
