Estoy traduciendo la siguiente oracion: "46 percent of third-graders reached the high performance level known as Commended Performance on the reading test."

No se como traducir "Commended Performance". Realizacion Recomendable??

"Rendimiento", cuando se refiere a una persona, significa 'performance' o 'achievement'. Por ejemplo, 'rendimiento academico' es 'academic achievement' y 'rendimiento laboral' es 'performance at work'.

Lo veo de esta forma...

Cuarenta y seis por ciento de los estudiantes de tercer grado alcanzaron el alto nivel de rendimiento conocido como Rendimiento Loable/Meritorio en el examen/la prueba de lectura.

Almost, but not quite. Here's what my Times Dictionary has to say:

commend 1 to present or represent as being worthy of regard, confidence, kindness, etc.; recommend. 2 to give in charge, entrust. 3 to express a good opinion of; praise. 4 to give the regards of: commend me to your aunt.

Meanings 1 and 3 come closest to the quoted context: performance in a reading test in school.
