Marhaba; In a science book; Certain species of insectivorous plants can actively hold their prey until digestion is completed. The Venus flytrap and common bladderwort are examples of such plants. I am not sure what "common" here maybe, I do not whether it is شائع or عادي? Any help appreciated.
Couldn't be that common is a part of its name and it's called "common bladderwort" because it is the most common type of the family "bladderwort family" ? What do you think ?
Yes, it is part of the botanical name which is Utricularia vulgaris. I can't vouch for the accuracy of this source,* but it seems that it could be called الفقاع الشائع in Arabic. *(scroll almost all the way to the bottom of the page --- it's the last entry)
