Indicateur de communication à cheval ou surtaxée (partie surtaxe ou airtime). Pour UMM, indicateur de communication à cheval uniquement.
Can someone please help me with translation of "communication à cheval"???

I don't know the term, but I'll try to explain it : "à cheval" means between 2 areas, (local and regional for instance), or 2 different fixed-priced contracts (you have asked for 30mn of communication at a certain price for instance), and your communication exceeds the boundaries previously established between the operator and you. ex : you have phoned during 45mn, you'll pay 30mn at the set-up price, and 15mn at a higher price

hum ... is it clearer ?

As Micia says, the idea is "astride" or "straddling"... spanning two categories at once, overlapping.
