Como te hamus

Como te hamus. does that mean what is your name or my name is? How do you say what my name is if como te hamus means whats your name.

BTW sorry for all the questions I am new I have only been trying to learn spanish for like 3 weeks and I am improviing.

    GovAg, where have you seen that expression/word? Please drop me a hint, just for me to look it up swh. Thks Art :confused:
     
    como te llamas? = what is your name?

    are you taking spanish classes? it might help to learn the basic grammar before trying to understand some other things that are much more complicated. that way at least you would understand better the wording and pronounciation, just a thought. it can be complicated to just try and pick up phrases without understanding their structure or the language.

    I probley spelled it wrong. I got it from lots of peeps. My mom, sister, friends, they all know the term but just don't know which it means.

    Do you know a site or somewere I can go to help learn grammer?

    So, Sarinchis the word "hamus" was a mispronunciation of "llamas"? Art :)

    I heard spanish was the easyest language to learn so why am I having a hard time learning it. BTW I see people on the computer putting lines over spanish letters like espanol there is soppose to be a line over the 'n' but how do I put a line up above it?

    If yo have a PC (not Mac) with a numerical pad, it should work this way:
    - Press the ALT key and hold it down (the left ALT key, not the right ALT-GR key).
    - While you keep the ALT key pressed down, key in the number 164 in the numerical pad.
    - Release the ALT key, and key in the "n".

    This topic was discussed before. Search the forum and you'll find that thread, and there you will also find other codes to be able to type the ñ, Ñ, á, é, í, ó, ú, ü, ¿, ¡.
