Hello everyone!

I want to understand the meaning of the phrase which was found in the safety manual.
"Travel not regularly compensated for mileage;"

This phrase define the word "non company business".

I think the word "mileage" means a kind of mileage program, is my understanding correct?

Thanks in advance.

If someone travels for business using their own personal vehicle, they are typically compensated (paid) for their mileage (how many miles they drove) at a certain rate (say, $0.54/mile).
