If your apprenticeship/training course/training has come to an end, what is the best way to word put this into a sentence?

Which is better to say:

1. I have completed my training course and I am now eligible to undergo further training to get to the position where I want to be in the company.

2. I have finished my training course and I am now waiting to hear back from someone to do further training.

Either completed or finished sound fine to me for all three of the options in the thread title. I can see no preference either way.
