How does one refer to Krashen's theory of comprehensible input in French? I've tried to find the French equivalent of this term without luck. Surely, it is discussed in the French language-learning literature.

    Hi,

we say "théorie de l'input compréhensible", with this definition of "input" :

input = exposition aux données de la langue cible.
input compréhensible = message qu'on reçoit et qu'on comprend.

We also find "théorie des données intelligibles", but it seems to be far less used.
