Quiero decirle esto a una amiga médica que va a hacer su primera cirugía.

Confía en ti misma y todo va a salir bien.

Be self confident and everything will be fine.

    In compound words, self must always be hyphenated: self-confident.

    Your attempt is otherwise correct. However, I would say it this way:

    Trust/{Believe in} yourself and everything will turn out fine.

    I like gengo's suggestion of verbs other than "be".
    "Self-confidence" is more often an inherent characteristic of a person.
    Telling someone to "be" that way is a little like telling them to be tall, or left-handed.

    That's a very good way to put it. I was going to mention why I wouldn't use that word, but couldn't find a clear way to explain it.
