Conservation des Hypothèques

Hello
I'm translating a legal document for a friend - it's an Acte de notoriété après déces, to prove that said friend is entitled to the very small amount of money which her sister left in a UK bank.
The Judge is attesting to the fact that he has sighted:

Hypothèques is "mortgage" but in this case, is it something to do with a Land Registry? Would it be : true transcript of the Land Registry ....?
Can anyone help please?

    .

To protect the lender, a mortgage by legal charge is usually recorded in a public register:

    English:
"The Judge attested me a budget certificate concerning the transcription by the 'Mortages Register'."

Im my opinion, your translation "Land registry" is certainly more accurate : it refers better in English to what is the role of "la conservation des hypothèques".
Im my opinion, you can use that or keep the French name, unfortunately though which wouldn't make that much sense to English speakers.
Moreover, in some Departements (Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin, Moselle), the "Land registry" is not "la conservation des hypothèques" but le "livre foncier" at "le tribunal d'instance".

    land registry = livre foncier

mortgage registry = Conservation des hypothèques
