conservation sous gestion

The sentence I am trying to translate is:

"Au 31/12/17, le nombre de comptes s’élève à 751 pour une conservation sous gestion de 2'452'098 K€."

My attempt:
"As of 12/31/17, the number of accounts stood at 751 for a holding under management of €2,452,098,000."

Thanks for any help!

The french expression is a bit awkward; what is the context and what type of accounts and company is it about?
I'd say they just want to mean that they are managing 751 accounts for a total of €2,452,098,000.
