constant state of bitter agitation

Bonjour a tous,
J’essaie de traduire la phrase suivante :
“Whereas Kurds were in a constant state of bitter agitation over their lack of an autonomous homeland, Bedouins had no use of such paralysing concepts.”

Je veux savoir s'il serait mieux dire "un etat eternal d'agitation amer", ou bien "un etat d'agitation amer eternel".

Merci !!
