Hello!

How can I translate "contrattista" "?
In the academic context, the first term refers, for instance, to students attending PhD training courses who are involved in research projects with a temporary contract;

Can you help me find the most suitable synthetic terms (University context)?

Thank you!

    Hi Audrey,

    This is a tough one.

    There are so many ways you could do this in AE.
    Temporary research technician
    Temporary research associate
    Contracted..................

    I assume that these students are working on a different project than their primary PhD project, right?

    Hi TimLa,

    Exacly, these students are attending a PhD course, but are involved in another research project.
    What about "research contract holder"? Does it make sense?
    Thanks for your help!
