Ciao a tutti,
potreste darmi una mano a tradurre "Ampliamento del contributo alla profittabilità complessiva del portafoglio di proprietà e del banking book non commerciale"?
Il mio tentativo è:
"extension of the contribution to the holding portfolio and non commercial banking book global ..." I don't really know how to translate profittabilità...

    • Servirebbe il contesto che precede, che magari è di 10 righe, ma:

    "Increasing the contribution (che però non mi convince) to the overall profitability of the property portfolio and the non-commercial banking book.

    I'm having some doubts about my translation and I agree with CPA that we need the text that precedes this.

    Il contesto precedente è:
    Rilevano a livello generale per il Gruppo i seguenti ambiti:
    -qualità del credito;sviluppo del business commerciale;ampliamento del contributo all profittabilità....
    Spero questo possa essere di aiuto :)
     
    I agree with CPA that there's something not quite right... also I've never heard of non-commercial "banking book". I realize the Italian is using an English term but I have no idea what this refers to actually. At any rate my take

    the enhancement of the real estate portfolio and non-commercial banking-book's overall profitability

    A banking book is probably a portfolio of loans. My guess is that this is a bank that does primarily commercial loans, but has a smaller book/portfolio of non-commercial loans (e.g., consumer loans). Non-commercial is not a common term, but maybe it is used to distinguish this small loan portfolio from the bank's primary business, commercial loans.
