I am proofreading a legal document, and I have trouble accepting the English translation for " convention d'abandon de compte-courant " which is " agreement for forgiveness of debt ".
The document concerns two companies, A has lent money to B, but has agreed to cancel the money lent to B, until B has recovered from its financial difficulties and can pay A back. ( I'm not an expert in finance )
I've thought of " Annulment of current debt agreement " or something like that...
