I am translating a document from Belgium that refers to:

Les droits dont l'entreprise dispose sur des immobilisations corporelles en vertu de conventions de superficie or de droits immobiliers similaires ....

I am translating "convention de superficie" as a "lease" but I am wondering whether it is something more specific.

    Thanks for any help...

    Yes it's different, I guess.
A lease is only the contract (bail in french).
Convention de superficie means here an "agreement on surfaces".
i.e. less than 1000 m² can be rented out.
    does it clarify?
Happy new year under the snow!
