Does anybody know the meaning of the idiomatic expression Peter told us not to spoil his plans , but Michael cooked his goose ?

    To cook someone’s goose is an idiom meaning to damage or ruin someone. You can also cook your own goose, in which case you do something that will ruin your chances or make it impossible to succeed. Interestingly, if you cook your own goose, you might end up a dead duck.
