cordon de soudure

New Member
Hi all,

I would like to translate in English "CORDON DE SOUDURE", I know soudure is "welding" in English but what would "CORDON DE SOUDURE" stand for?

Context: assembling by welding of two steel plates.

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Kindest regards

The "cordon" is either the "bead", or in some instances, it refers to the welded joint/seam itself. Your context will tell you which is correct.

    I agree with bobepine.
Could you please offer the complete sentence or additional context?
