coucou (response)

    Hi, I was wondering whether there is a standard response to coucou - eg would it be normal to reply coucou (in the same way as one would if someone said bonjour or salut)? Thank you!

    Yes absolutely!
    When someone says "coucou", you can reply "coucou" or "salut" or even "bonjour". :)

    Well, I'd say it much depends on how familiar or close you are to the person.
    Personnally, I often use "Coucou" with my daughter and friends as a change from "Bonjour" and other "Salut".;)
