Could "surpass" and "transcend" be substitutes for "outweigh"?

    Outweigh works here, so is surpass, in my opinion, while transcend doesn't work.

    Let's listen to some native speakers.

    Only outweigh. That means the benefits and disadvantages are being compared. They are being weighed against each other. The other words do not have that comparison.
