Countable/Uncountable Nouns [1]

What would be the correct way of saying these sentences:

Chocolate contains a lot of sugar and fat.

or

Chocolate contains much sugar and fat.

I have a big water bottle, but I don't have much water left in it .

or

I have a big water bottle, but I don't have a little water left in it.

Both the sentences on chocolate are correct. But, of the two sentences on water bottle, the second sentence does not make sense. Probably, you can say, " I have a big water bottle, but I have very little water left in it.
