Hola me he atorado en la traduccion/ interpretacion de la siguiente frase:


Each laboratory should develop criteria for judging acceptable method performance based on the intended use of data.

    To tell you the truth, I certainly don't envy you. Does rewording the English sentence help?

    Each lab should develop criteria to evaluate whether protocols are acceptable.
    These criteria will depend on what the data is for.

    That's not a good paraphrase.

    Would you say the criteria are used to judge the performance of acceptable methods, or whether or not the performance of the methods are acceptable?

    1) You have an objective
    2) You adopt a method that may achieve it
    3) You evaluate whether or not the method does indeed work.


    "Each laboratory should establish criteria to evaluate the reliability of their methods."

    That's how simple the sentence could have been. It took a real scientific genius to the confuse the picture with a needlessly complicated sentence.

    Hola, tienes razon, la frase pudo haber sido menos complicada.

    El problema que tenia era la interpretacion correcta.

    Esta frase form parte de una hoja de instrucciones para un standard de control de calidad.

    Agradezco enormemente tu ayuda!!
