cross country sport

    How would you translate into Spanish cross country?, (the sport).

    Cross country "a campo traviesa". However the English "cross country" is often used.

    So, for running, it's "correr a campo traviesa"?

    En España se dice normalmente "carreras campo a través" aunque el RAE reconoce también
    "a campo traviesa" no lo he oído nunca.

    ¿AsI que se dice "Yo practico las carreras a campo a travEs/traviesa"? En el inglEs americano: "I run cross country" (I practice the sport of cross country running)
