cruise for a/the bruise

    Please can someone tell me what "cruise for the/a bruise" means?

    It means that someone is annoying someone so much that if they don't stop they will get hit/punched (eg. a bruise). Hope this helps! :)

    You're cruisin' for a bruisin' - You're looking for trouble, or as Rockprincess said, you are likely to get thumped if you aren't careful!
