    Hi,

    What's the difference between these verbs?

    Cruzo la calle./Atravieso la calle.
    Cruzo el mar/Atravieso el mar.
    Cruzo el prado/Atravieso el prado.

    In those sentences, I think they mean basically the same thing. But generally, "atravesar" means to go through something (all the way), like a bullet through a body, or an arrow through a target.
