"customer vs customer's"

Hi all,

A terrible doubt: if I want to refer to a solution for a customer, should I say "customer solution" or "customer's solution"? I'd choose the former one because I'm afraid that with "customer's solution" I wouldn't mean a solution I thought of for a customer, but a solution belonging to the customer itself (and addressed to customer's customers).. am I on the right track?

Thanks in advance!
