Hi everyone :)

Could you confirm if I can substitute the sentence ". I was in charge of several customer files for which I had to fill in the different purchases and sales invoices in the software, check the bank of our account with the customer's bank."

for

"I was in charge of several customer files for which I had to fill in the different purchases and sales invoices in the software, and deal with company’s and customer’s bank reconciliation."

Thx very much

  • No. The first sentence is not grammatically correct or completely understandable. The second sentence is much better, although I would add a comma after files and deal should be changed to dealt because were is past, so deal should be too. You were in charge ... and (you) dealt with

"I was in charge of several customer files, for which I had to fill in the different purchases and sales invoices in the software, and deal with company’s and customer’s bank reconciliation."

If you are trying to make the sentence shorter, you could say:

"I was in charge of updating several customer files, for which I had to fill in the different purchases and sales invoices in the software, and dealing with the company’s and customer’s bank reconciliation."
