could someone help me please with the following?
I would need to know what this means exactly in english (context is the beginning of a contract):

XY d'une part,
et XY d'autre part, désigné dans ce qui suit par "Le déclarant".

    It's legalese, saying that the second XY will be called "Le déclarant" in the text that follows.
    On the one hand A... and on the other hand B, referred to in the text below as 'The informant'
