Hello,

I am writing to ask which is the correct preposition to use with the word DATA in the following sentence:
"The data on what motivates undergraduates (or about student's motivation) obtained using the Likert scale questionnaire was analysed".

And is it possible in general to use data ON <something>?

Thanks in advance.
