Dawn mushroom

In the novel "The Muse" by Jessie Burton I have come across the following description of a party:

"A woman wore a long satin dress the color of a dawn mushroom."

The scene is a bit surreal, and the main character is a little drunk, but this description seems odd to me.
What is a "dawn mushroom", and what colour is it? Perhaps this is the name for a colour? The main character is an artist,
and I know paints often have some bizarre names for colours.

Any help would be appreciated.

A lot of mushrooms come up as the dew collects on the ground at dawn, Pellefygert. Different mushrooms have different colors, of course, but many of them are sort of beige or tan in color. There's no way to know for sure exactly what color Burton had in mind.
