de Chirico-esque

What is the proper adjective form using the painter Giorgio de Chirico's name? The two vowels in the middle of "de Chiricoesque" strike me as a bit barbarous; I want to say "de Chiriguesque" but I don't know if there's any justification for that c-->g shift.
