I read that this means "Loudmouth", a person who talks too much or too loudly. Its confusing to me because it seems like the translation is something like "hard finger". Can someone clear this up for me?

thanks!

Tattletale is also a good translation, but it's a word mostly used by children.

Actually, tattletale is mostly used referring to children.

From Merriam-Webster : "a person, especially a child, who reveals secrets or informs on others; a telltale."
