Deferred budget

Dear all,

The company I work for is planning its budget and some budget items need to be "deferred", i.e. withheld for approval by top management.
Would reference to such budget items as "deferred budget" make sense, if I add some remarks like the one above?
Or is there some other pre-fixed meaning to "deferred budget" that would make its use inappropriate?

Thank you.

I think so. It makes sense to include the word "items" in that name: deferred budget items

I don't know anything about finance or accounting, but I imagine that "deferred budget (items)" is a sensible and appropriate title for the items you are talking about.
