Can someone explain me what is the approximate correspondance between English and Italian degree classifications?
What does a 2:ii correspond to?

When I graduated with a 2:ii in Psychology I was disappointed.

I think a "second" (= second class honours) if I recall. But a more recent graduate can probably correct.

Well, I don't know if I can translate this in Italian; we have numbers when we graduate. So I don't really know to what "a second class honours" can correspond.
    Thanks Memimao

    hi all.
wondering if anyone knows exactly how to compare degree marks from the british system to the italian one.
I was not able to find a decent comparison on the web, and I'd need to know
what's the equivalent in italy of a 2.1 bachelor's degree.
Trying to apply for a MA in UK, but I need to know first if I have all the requirements..

Drop in at your local British Council or 'phone them and they will be glad to give you such information. It is part of their job to help people find an appropriate educational niche in the UK.
