This is about a woman who walks into a herbal remedies shop, and sees lots of herbal cures for odd illnesses, and says she saw "des noms qui font rêver pour des maux qui souvent le font moins"

What does this mean?? That she sees the names of things that make her want to be ill...but then what is this 'qui souvent le font moins' part?? I am confused...

Thanks

    Hello
    it's probably a pun Mots/ Maux
The words make you dream while the diseases they are supposed to cure do not (make you dream).
    does it help?

"Les noms qui font rêver" probably refers to lyrical and beautiful names that surely evoke something else than illnesses and "les maux qui souvent le font moins" means that the illnesses to which they are associated have nothing dreamy about them.

    Hope it helps!
